Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Copper & Vine Accounting is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology. We treat accessibility as part of building the site, not as something added afterwards.

We deliberately do not use accessibility overlay widgets. Those tools frequently interfere with the assistive technology people already have configured, and they do not fix underlying markup problems. Our accessibility is built into the HTML itself.

Known limitations

We are honest about work in progress. At present:

• Our blog is not yet published; accessibility will be validated before it launches
• Third-party documents such as PDFs may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers — ask us and we will provide an accessible version

Standard we build to

We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA. In practice that means:

• Every page has one clear heading structure with no skipped levels, and proper landmarks so assistive technology can navigate by region
• A skip-to-content link is the first thing you reach with the keyboard
• Everything usable with a mouse is usable with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator at every stop
• Text contrast meets at least 4.5:1, and larger text and interface elements at least 3:1 — measured, not estimated
• Color is never the only way information is conveyed
• Pages reflow to a 320px screen and tolerate 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling
• Animation and smooth scrolling are disabled automatically when your device requests reduced motion
• Meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers
